"Sto vathos kipos shows clearly the desire by some authors, to offer something new to Greek cinema, not so indigestible and cultured, but something that touches the average viewer without following the specifications of a typical television production.

A newlywed couple moves to a house with garden. The husband, concerned about his ability to be “fruitful”, asks a Hindu colleague for advice. He tells him to “dig in the yard and plant a palm tree”. The man starts digging and an avalanche of situations begins to unfold.

The plot is original, and interesting casting with fresh faces, are a plus for the film
