Το Duende, έννοια συνυφασμένη με την κουλτούρα της Ανδαλουσίας αλλά δύσκολο να ερμηνευτεί με ακρίβεια, είναι η πηγή έμπνευσης της νέας δισκογραφικής πρότασης της Ελένης Πέτα σε συνεργασία με τον κιθαρίστα Παναγιώτη Μάργαρη. Το duende έχει να κάνει με το συναίσθημα, το πάθος, την ανείπωτη συγκίνηση που μπορεί να προξενήσει μία καλλιτεχνική έκφραση- στο χορό, τη μουσική, το τραγούδι.

Συγκίνηση και ατμόσφαιρα μυσταγωγίας προκαλούν μέσα από το Duende η Ελένη Πέτα και ο Παναγιώτης Μάργαρης, επιλέγοντας να ερμηνεύσουν μερικά από τα ωραιότερα τραγούδια του παγκόσμιου ρεπερτορίου. Τραγούδια των Madredeus, Pink Floyd, Joan Baez, Astor Piazzolla, The Police, Amalia Rodrigues, Μίκη Θεοδωράκη, The Kinks, Ishtar, Γιώργου Ανδρέου, Christophe κ.α. δένουν αρμονικά μεταξύ τους, μέσα από τη σαγηνευτική φωνή της Ελένης Πέτα και το κιθαριστικό ταπεραμέντο του Παναγιώτη Μάργαρη, σε ένα μείγμα ηλεκτρισμού, πνευστών, εγχόρδων και κρουστών, που δημιουργούν ένα μοναδικό, γεμάτο εκπλήξεις μουσικό τοπίο.  Γνώριμες μελωδίες σε καινούριο περιβάλλον, ενώνονται και ταξιδεύουν σε προορισμούς γοητευτικούς, γεμάτους πολυποίκιλα φωνητικά και κιθαριστικά ηχοχρώματα με ενορχηστρωτική διάθεση τόσο σκοτεινή, όσο και φλογερή, τόσο Μεσογειακή όσο και δυτική.

Το «Duende» αποτελεί τον κορμό της παράστασης που παρουσιάζουν τον τελευταίο καιρό η Ελένη Πέτα και ο Παναγιώτης Μάργαρης μαζί με τους συνεργάτες τους στις ζωντανές τους εμφανίσεις, προκαλώντας ενθουσιώδεις αντιδράσεις και κερδίζοντας εγκωμιαστικές κριτικές. Απολαύστε τους!

On the occasion of the cinematic portrait of painter Manolis Calliyiannis, an amateur filmmaker registers compelling life lessons and art by a wonderful man.
