Luna Piena is a musical journey between the Mediterranean one and the Atlantic proposed by a very original and trio. The trio is formed by Massimo Cusato, Margarida Guerreiro and Peppe Platani who will be replaced in Ikaria by Gege Albanese.
Massimo Cusato is a percussionist and drummer of extreme musical flexibility formed under the guidance of master percussionists Horacio Hernandez, Changuito and Arnaldo Vacca.
From 1995 to 1998 Massimo toured throughout Europe with Italian recording artist Eugenio Bennato, while he was already involved with his own ethnic music band Quartaumentata.
Throughout his extensive career, Cusato’s versatility brought him to collaborate in diverse artistic situations: from singers and songwriters Massimo Ranieri, Niccolò Fabi, Simone Cristicchi, Marco Zurzolo and Lucilla Galeazzi to theatrical venues alongside actors Davide Riondino, Dario Vergassola e Rodolfo Laganà, being also director of the Festival of Sets to Ethnic music «Ah confini del Sud».

Margarida Guerreiro, Portuguese born in Alentejo, Margarida’s talent was recognized at a very young age for her warm voice. Already in 1991 Margarida was invited to perform in one of her most important concerts of her career opening for the Fado Star Amalia Rodrigues. In 1997 she was awarded the prestigious price Amália Clube de Fado in Lisbon. In 2002 Margarida records her first album “Sal e Mel” that prepares her for the second Cd “ENCORES FADO - Live” released in 2007. During her extensive career Margarida was featured in many Fado Compilations and participated in international music festivals including: El Hatilho (Venezuela) , Fado Flamenco (Spain), Folk Segovia Festival (Spain), Ollinkan Festival (Mexico), Stricly Mondial - Montreal (Canada), Chambers Guitar Festival (Slovenia), Festival 7 Sois 7 Luas (Espana, França, Croácia, Itália)… Today Margarida is considered one of the finest singers in the Portuguese music industry.

Gege Albanese, Italian pianist, and accordionist is one of the founders and musicians of the group Quartaumentata, that collaborated with Giorgio Gaslini and Frank Batiato.
