"Trying to set the world around him in order for he cannot set himself in order".

Plot: Pavlos. Late forties. With two children who go to school every morning, the apartment block which it’s his turn to manage, the rotten plumbing and leaking sewage, the mother who’ll never get it into her head that her son is married to another woman – his wife, who feels him drifting ever further away after 10 years of marriage.

But Pavlos has a dream: he wants to make this little world better!

And amongst it all, a girl, Yanna, half his age.

It’s the first time Pavlos has kissed another woman.

There’s a proverb: “No tree grows to reach the sky”. More plumbing problems, more money, the pipes still leak, his mother always pulling the carpet from under his feet, Pavlos ever more absent from Nikki. Even Yanna – the ‘gift’ – becomes a burden.

But life is more than bitterness. A refreshing breeze will blow and it will show Pavlos that the answer he’s looking, for has been there inside him all along.
